Sinhala Language
Sinhala language is my first language among other languages. Sinhala is also known as Sinhalese, is an Indo-Aryan language primarily spoken by the Sinhalese people of Sri Lanka, who make up the largest ethnic group on the island, numbering about 16 million. Sinhala is also spoken as the first language by other ethnic groups in Sri Lanka, totaling about 4 million people. Sinhala is written using the Sinhala script, which is one of the Brahmic scripts, a descendant of the ancient Indian Brahmi script closely related to the Kadamba script.
Tamil Language
Sri Lanka is a multicultural country, where the majority of people are speaking Sinhala and then Tamil language consider as our second language. Tamil is the official language of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, as well as two sovereign nations, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
English Language
I also learned English language when was back home, which we use it there as a foreign language. English is the largest language by number of speakers, and the third most-spoken native language in the world, after Standard Chinese and Spanish.
Spanish Language
I chose Spanish as a language class while I was taking all other my major coursers in 2020. Spanish, among all other foreign languages, seems to be the most necessary for the United States. Spanish-speaking population, which is large already, Spanish is rapidly becoming the second-most-used language in the United States in terms of the number of speakers. I thought that it will helpful for me when I travel state to state, so that’s was my main reason of studying different languages.
